5 vols. in-8 (31 x 13 cm), fawn calfskin, gilt roulette framing, smooth, decorated spines, green title and volume number labels, marbled edges (contemporary bindings).
First English edition of this descriptive itinerary of Spain; adapted from the original French edition, published in 1808, it is illustrated at the end with 29 fold-out plates.
Bindings heavily worn (split hinges, scuffing, missing pieces from the spine). Waterstains.

Illustrated with 3 frontispieces and 4 fold-out maps and views, plus 5 separate plates, all engraved on copper. Bindings very worn, with foxing.
