History of the Spanish Revolution, 1820–1823. 2 vols. in-8 (21.9 x 14 cm), cardboard binding imitating red long-grain leather, smooth spine, untrimmed (contemporary binding). First edition. Numerous contemporary handwritten notes in the margins, including one at the bottom of the first page: ‘Indeed, the author of so many lies, who lacks the courage to give his name, is Mr Miñano.’ The cardboard covers are slightly rubbed, particularly along the gutter.
