History of the War in the Peninsula and in the South of France, from the year 1807 to the year 1814. 6 vols., large 8vo (22.4 x 14 cm), brown paper slipcase, title labels on spines, partly untrimmed. First edition (except for volume 3). The set is illustrated with 55 copper-engraved maps and plans, printed separately. As is very often the case, our copy comprises volumes from both the first and second (vol. 3) editions. Covers slightly worn, with a few losses on the spines.
