Storia di Napoleone. 4 vols. in-8 (21.8 x 13.4 cm), red half-maroquin, spine with raised band decorated with gilt motifs, place and date of publication on the tail, marbled edges (F. Domenech). First Italian edition of this important work on Napoleon, illustrated with 78 copperplate engravings, including 19 portraits, 18 maps, 40 landscapes and a reproduction of a handwritten note. Varied degrees of foxing on some leaves, a few tears not affecting the text and some wormholes, some of which have been partially restored; a few plates are partially torn, some with restoration and some without. Two plates are missing.
