Sixth edition, illustrated with 47 engravings after Scheffer, Tavernier, Johannot, etc., including 27 portraits, and a large fold-out map. Bindings worn; 2 spines missing and 2 partially missing; some joints split; some cap bands worn away; covers scuffed; foxing of varying degrees. Included with this: THIERS (Adolphe).
