[DUBUFFET].– BENOÎT (Pierre André) Paris, Alès, PAB, 1962. With flaps intact. Small square quarto (26 x 25 cm), paperback with illustrated cover.   First edition. The text, printed in a dancing style using a stamp by Pierre-André Benoît, is reproduced by phototype and adorned with 13 full-page compositions by Jean Dubuffet, including two spread across two pages, as well as a cover. One of the 50 copies in the first print run, printed on polychrome paper (no. XII); these are the only copies signed by the author-publisher and the illustrator (along with a few unpublished copies known as ‘attrape-oreilles’).   The text was set by hand by PAB, then reproduced by phototype by the Union printing works.
