[ZAO].– SHAKESPEARE (William) [Paris], Les Bibliophiles de France, 1994. XXIV Sonnets. In-4 (36 x 28.5 cm), loose-leaf, printed board cover with inlaid decoration, publisher’s slipcase. First edition of Yves Bonnefoy’s translation of Shakespeare’s first 24 sonnets. English text in parallel columns. It is illustrated with 7 original etchings and aquatints by Zao Wou-ki. Limited edition of 195 numbered copies; this one is no. 36 (for Michel Daburon), signed by Yves Bonnefoy and Zao Wou-ki.   A very fine copy (minor pinholes, which do not affect the illustrations).
