In-4°, ochre Bradel half-morocco with corners, smooth spine, gilt head, cover (B. Magnin).
Decorated with a portrait of the author by Burney and 15 illustrations by F. Flameng and O. Cortazzo, etched by Mordant and Lucas, including 5 insert illustrations and the supplementary plate for *Emmeline*, which was rejected at the time and sold separately by the publisher to subscribers. A very fine copy with wide margins, numbered on a small sheet of vellum (Vicaire VI, 1247).
