[ZOOLOGY] BARROIS, Théodore. Catalogue of marine crustaceans collected in the Azores during August and September 1887. Lille, Impr. Le Bigot, 1888. Large 8vo, Bradel binding in pine-green half-percale, smooth spine with title running lengthwise. 110 plates and 4 sheets. Normal wear and tear, title page discoloured, a few foxing spots on the first and last leaves and on the edges. First edition illustrated with 4 plates, one of which is delicately coloured. This copy is enhanced by an autograph dedication signed on the title page to Dr Sauvage, with his stamped bookplate. Bound together: - ‘Note on Palaemonetes vaians Leach’, enhanced with a dedication to the same and an extract from the Bulletin of the Zoological Society of France (Volume XI, 1886, 17 pages and 1 plate) - “Remarks on sexual dimorphism in certain amphipods of the genus Moera”, an extract from the Bulletin of the Zoological Society of France (Volume XIII, meeting of 23 February 1888). In good condition.
