VALERY, Paul. A Short Collection of Occasional Verses. Paris, for the ‘Plaisir de Bibliophile’ series, 1926. Uncut 12mo paperback, cover with flaps and printed initial. 129 pp. Slight browning to the spine and a few creases. First edition of this small collection, printed in a limited number of copies on Annonay vellum paper for the friends of ‘Plaisir de Bibliophile’. It is illustrated with several woodcut initials with white outlines by Louis Jou (1881–1968). A very fine copy.
