Quarto, red shagreen, spine with raised bands highlighted by a dotted gold fillet, richly decorated panels with a central fleur-de-lis, framing decoration on the covers comprising gilt and blind-stamped bands and a large embossed rocaille fleur-de-lis in the centre, gilt inner roulette, gilt roulette on the edges, gilt edges. IV - 1 f.n.ch. - 234 pp., 78 engraved plates including an engraved title page (unpaginated). In English.
