PLESSYS, Maurice du. *Pallas Occidentale*. Ode. Paris, François Bernouard, n.d. [1920]. Oblong quarto, half-maroquin with fawn-coloured corners, plain spine with gilt title, gilt top edge, covers and spine intact. Binding signed ‘H. Blanchetière’. Approximately 60 pp. (unpaginated). Some very slight signs of wear. First edition of this collection by Maurice du Plessys, a leading figure of L’École romane, a poetic movement founded by Jean Moréas and Charles Maurras in 1891. One of 350 numbered copies on Arches laid paper in this format (no. 87). With an engraved and three-colour printed ex-libris by Auguste-Pierre Garnier (1885–1966), a publisher and poet from Normandy. A copy in fine condition, bound by Blanchetière.
