[BOTANY] BOULAY, Jean-Nicolas. Pliocene Flora of Mont-Doré. Paris, Savy, 1892. Folio, fir-green half-percale with corner pieces, smooth spine with title. 4 unnumbered folios and 115 pages, 10 lithographic plates and 2 photolithographic plates. Spine slightly faded with a tear at the foot and a small tear at the head; title lettering faded; scattered foxing. A few handwritten annotations in graphite. First edition, complete with all 12 plates. A study conducted in the Puy-de-Dôme by Abbé Boulay (1837–1905), a botanist whose achievements earned him, in 1875, a professorship at the newly founded Catholic University of Lille. A copy enriched, on the half-title page, with an autograph dedication signed to the parish priest of Murols (Aveyron). A good copy.
