1/ - Bertall. - *La Comédie de notre temps* (second series). *Les Enfants* – *Les Jeunes* – *Les Murs* – *Les Vieux*. Paris, E. Plon et Cie, 1875. In-4, bound in red half-shagreen, ribbed spine with decorative lettering, author’s name and title gilded, edges gilt – [3 ff.], 652 pp. In perfect condition, free from foxing.
2/ - Bertall. - My Mother’s Tales, collected and illustrated by Bertall. Paris, E. Plon & Co., 1877. In-8, half-box binding with corner pieces, ribbed spine, author’s name and title gilded, covers preserved (in poor condition and with losses) – [2 ff.], 346 pp. Illustrated with a frontispiece comprising 33 plates in full colour and 3 chapter plates.
3/ - Grandville. - The Private and Public Life of Animals. Published under the direction of P.J. Stahl. Paris, J. Hetzel, 1868. In-4, brown half-chagrin, ribbed spine decorated with gilt fleurons, author’s name, title and head gilt – [2 ff.], 636 pp. Rare foxing.
4/ - Old Nick and Grandville. - The Little Misfortunes of Human Life. Paris, H. Fournier, 1843. In-8, brown half-basane with a smooth spine – [1 f.], VIII, 392 pp. Illustrated with an engraved title page, a frontispiece, 48 plates hors texte and figures in the text.
5/ - La Fontaine; - Fables. Illustrations by Grandville. Paris, Garnier Frères, (c. 1885]. In-4, full porphyry calf, smooth spine, gilded lion’s head stamped in the upper corner of the front cover – [2 ff.], XXXII, 667 pp. numerous full-page illustrations.
6/ – Daumier, Honoré. - *Les Cent Robert Macaire*. Paris, Les Arts et le Livre, 1926. In-4, black half-maroquin with corner caps, outlined with a gilt fillet, decorated ribbed spine, author’s name and title in gilt, covers and spine preserved, all pages mounted on tabs – [2 ff.], 6 pp. Complete set of 100 plates.

Illustrated with 40 plates (separate from the text), including 4 in colour, and numerous figures in the text by Uzès.
8/ - Lireux, Auguste. - Assemblée nationale comique. Paris; M. Levy Frères, 1850. In-4, black half-basane with a smooth spine, gilt title – 1 corner broken, 1 corner missing – [2 ff.], 625 pp., [1 f.]. Illustrated with 20 plates (h.t.) and numerous drawings in the text.
9/ - Coquelin cadet (Pirouette). - *Le Livre des convalescents*. Paris, Tresse, 1885. In-8, midnight blue half-basane, smooth spine, author’s name and title in gold lettering – scattered foxing – XVI, 402 pp., [1 f.]. Illustrated with 15 half-sheets (h-t) for chapters and numerous in-t drawings. Printed in a run of 1,115 copies; this one is one of the 1,100 printed on vellum (no. 284).
Included are 5 works in various conditions and incomplete, and the works of Jean de Tinan in 2 volumes.
