Undated. 1 p. in-8. ‘I have sent a request to de Lessert to sell the actors’ costumes at the Théâtre Historique.’ He has received no reply. ‘Otherwise, the person who made the costumes will lose 3 or 4 thousand francs. ” On the reverse, a note from Jadin forwarding Dumas’s letter and asking “why Dumas has not been replied to, and to press the matter if at all possible. ” Enclosed: - Mr Alexandre DUMAS the Younger. *Atala*, a lyric drama.
