Description
(Manuscript) – Alexandre DUMAS the Younger. Excerpt from his play *Les Idées de madame Aubray*. [1867].
9 pp. ½ folio on blue paper.
Excerpt from Act 2
The play premiered at the Gymnase-Dramatique on 16 March 1867.
An important play by Dumas the Younger for the ideas it explores: it features a broad-minded woman who, after many twists and turns and without regard for prejudice, marries her son to the unwed mother he loves.
