Obverse: Young draped bust of Louis XV, legend "LUD.XV.D.G.FR.ET.NAV.REX" and different director under the bust (Louis XV par la Grâce de Dieu Roi de France et de Navarre). Reverse: Arms of France and Navarre in crowned ovals, legend followed by the engraver's mark and the date "CHRS.REGN.VINC.IMPER.1731". (Le Christ Règne, Vainc, Commande), workshop letter below the ovals. Different: Renard, mark of Mathieu Renard de Tasta (director of the mint) and five-petalled flower, mark of Georges Röettiers (engraver). Stringed edge. Diameter 23.7 mm. Official purity: 917 ‰ gold. Official weight: 8.158 g. Ref. Gad. 340. In a 750 thousandth yellow gold openwork setting. Diameter 35.1 mm Gross weight. 12,8 g. The setting is dented.
