BALENCIAGA Long catwalk jacket by Alexander Wang Season: Autumn/Winter 2013–2014 Materials: Embroidered fabric, satin Colour: White, grey, black Dimensions: size XS; shoulders 35 cm; bust 38 cm; waist 36 cm; hips 48 cm; sleeve 54 cm; back length 92 cm Condition: Good Notes: A rare Balenciaga jacket designed by Alexander Wang for the Autumn/Winter 2013–2014 ready-to-wear collection, his first collection for the House. This model was presented on the catwalk, inspired by the construction of a tuxedo jacket and characterised by a longer back hem. The surface is entirely adorned with a rich embroidered texture comprising small thread elements of varying sizes in shades of white, grey and black, contrasting with the white satin lapels. Tailored cut with an elaborate construction. No size label; the fabric label lists only the lining details. Minimal marks on the white lining. A rare example from Alexander Wang’s first collection for Balenciaga; a dress from the same collection is held in the collections of the Palais Galliera in Paris. BALENCIAGA
