Louis-Charles-Auguste COUDER (London, 1790 – Paris, 1873) Joseph and Potiphar’s Wife Oil on panel 27 x 21.5 cm Provenance: Collection of Dr Court; Alexis Hubert Rouart (1839–1911) Collection, bearing his wax seal on the reverse; His estate sale, Paris, Hôtel Drouot, Maître Baudoin, 8–9–10 May 1911, lot 47 (sold for 55 francs) The hammer price includes VAT.
