Antoine-Louis BRONGNIART (1742–1804), chemist. Chief Apothecary to King
Louis XVI, military pharmacist and subsequently professor of chemistry at the College of Pharmacy and the Jardin des Plantes. He was also director of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory.
Extremely rare admission ticket, engraved with elaborate decoration, for the ‘Natural History Museum at the King’s Garden’, bearing the autograph signature of Antoine-Louis Brongniart. Dimensions: 10 x 6.8 cm. Copy reinforced at the corners on heavy paper. Fine condition; rare.
