Henri Charlier (French, 1883-1975) Poster for Colombe la petite, 1934 Lithograph. Printer: Amédée Oliveau & Cie, Bordeaux. Height 120 Width 57.5 cm. Moulded frame: 128.5 x 65.5 cm. Provenance: Claude Bernes collection (1941-2025). Henri Charlier, who illustrated editions of Duboscq's poems and scores, closely followed and supported the musician's efforts in his plans for a musical theatre using all the arts, first under canvas, then in the theatre built for him by his father in Onesse. The great achievement was Colombe la Petite, a musical production about the life of the little martyr from Sens (not far from Mesnil-Saint-Loup), in which many of the performers were from the Landes community.
