A heliotrope and gold bottle case, probably from England, circa 1760, adorned with an openwork and chiselled gold mount featuring a decoration of arabesques, putti and birds, a diamond-set stopper, containing four heliotrope snuff bottles, each fitted with a matching setting and swan-shaped snuffers, interior lined with red velvet, unhallmarked, 7 x 6 x 6.4 cm
