Gold miniature case, 20th century, in the style of late 18th-century Paris, with a cage-style setting; the miniatures, painted in gouache on ivory, depict figures from high society in the mid-18th century engaged in outdoor activities: walking, horse riding, carriage rides and contemplating the landscape, the yellow gold setting with an amati background, decorated with rosettes and garlands of berries, enhanced with fine bands of light blue enamel; hexagonal eagle-head hallmark, 3rd standard; 4.8 x 8.8 x 3.4 cm; 203g gross weight
