Decagonal pedestal table
Ottoman Empire, circa 1800
In natural wood, richly inlaid with stained fruitwood, mother-of-pearl and bone. The decagonal top features a radiating geometric design with concentric motifs. The belt is decorated with alternating panels of polychrome checkerboard marquetry. The base is made up of ten uprights with openwork arcatures and marquetry fillets.
