A set of silverware, Lisbon, 19th century, comprising: 1/ A large silver tureen or pot-à-oille, presented with its vermeil lining. Featuring a rich rocaille decoration, it rests on four console feet whose foliage motifs extend up the body; it is adorned with two cartouches decorated with a screw-mounted monogram, the scalloped lid features four cartouches and, at the rim, a twisted frétel with rocaille decoration of leaves, fruit, flowers and a seashell. 19th century, Portugal, Lisbon; city hallmarks: Lisbon; fineness marks: boar (1st fineness for the terrine and 2nd fineness for its lining), H.23.5 L.40, W.24 cm, weight of the tureen: 3631.44 g and lining (hallmark, 2nd standard): 843.40 g and 2/ Round lidded vegetable dish with rocaille decoration matching the tureen, 19th century, Portugal, city hallmark: Lisbon, hallmark: leopard’s head, silversmith’s mark: partially legible; weight: 1,609 g, diameter: 24 cm, H. 16 cm.
