Ronald Cecil SPORTES (1943–2025). Two vases on stands, commissioned for the fit-out of the BMCE Bank Headquarters, 2000. The four-legged base is made of chrome-plated and brushed metal, with legs fitted with castors. Dimensions: 110 x 105 x 32 cm. Signs of wear. Direct provenance: the professional studio of designer Ronald Cecil Sportes. Ref. Model reproduced in the designer’s monograph, *Ronald Cecil Sportes – Classic not Plastic*, published by Serge Malik Ltd, in the chapter on the BMCE Bank Headquarters, 2000, pp. 368, 370 and 389. One glass is missing and there is some wear.
