Description
A curious and rare miniature clock with a spherical revolving dial crowned with acanthus leaves, the arm of a putti indicating the hours. It stands on a circular base decorated with rows of pearls, stripes of hearts and foliage. Case in leather simulating a finial (clasp incomplete and one foot later). Louis XVI style. Height of the clock: 7 cm. Total height with case: 10.5 cm. Tested but probably in need of revision. A trace of oxidation to the gilding.
