A rosewood and rosewood veneered crossbow chest of drawers opening to three drawers in two rows. The flared, curved sides are joined by rounded uprights ending in cambered legs. Decorated with Greek-style fillets and reserves to accommodate the bronzes. Ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes: key escutcheons, falls, sabots, apron and handles with double medallions with fleurs-de-lis. Sea Green marble (accidents). 19th century.
