An Exceptional Italian corner cabinet with marquetry and inlay, Renaissance style, circa 1900. Sculptured wood. Corner cabinet, consisting of two stacked sections. Lower section (H: 124.5 cm) with drawer, two-door cupboard, and two narrow 'hidden' drawers. Upper section (H: 122 cm) with single-door cupboard. Richly decorated with sculptured Solomonic columns, grotesque, acanthus leaves, and Boulle-style marquetry and inlay work with wood, metal, and bone. Figurative and Renaissance ornamentation.
