UNIFORMS. ‘Flottard’ trousers for an officer of the 2nd or 6th African Chasseurs, in madder-red cloth with blue stripes and light blue side piping; buttons marked ‘J. CROS’, the tailor to the 2nd Foreign Regiment. Large size. Date: 1900–1914. A few moth-eaten patches. BE The 2nd and 6th Regiments of African Chasseurs were part of the same Oran division as the 2nd Foreign Regiment.
