Model 1915 spiked helmet of the Oldenburg No. 91 Infantry Regiment, with a patent-leather crown, round visor, and grey-painted iron fittings, front plate bearing the standard Prussian eagle with the coat of arms of the duchy at its centre, detachable bayonet-style spike on a round base, fawn-coloured leather inner lining, Oldenburg Infantry Regiment stamp ‘O.J.R 91’, not re-punched. Slight wear to the lining. Very good condition. From the collection of Luc Girard.
