Brigadier-General’s uniform comprising a khaki woollen beret with an original embroidered crown sewn on, black cotton lining dated 1944, a khaki cloth battle dress featuring red collar tabs, rank insignia on the shoulder tabs and the 21st Army Group patch, all originally fitted, and a ribbon bar comprising numerous decorations, notably from 1914–1918, CB, CVO, DSO, Queen’s South African Medal, the 1911 and 1937 Coronation Gold Medals, the 1935 Jubilee Gold Medal, etc. Also included are an officer’s shirt with collar and tie, and a pair of blackened leather boots of Canadian manufacture, marked with the Broad Arrow, L.
