A very fine Model 1822 Tbis infantry rifle. The lock is clearly marked ‘Manufacture Royale de Tulle’ and is in working order. The barrel bears very fresh markings: ‘C de 18’ and ‘1825 MR’, with the breech marked ‘1822 Tbis’. White polished metal, the inside of the barrel has very fresh rifling. Beautiful walnut stock with a badge and small hallmarks, marked twice with St Etienne (repair carried out at the arsenal). Condition close to new, perfect for a marksman. Category D.
