1866 Chassepot rifle. All parts bear the same serial number except for the ramrod. Clearly marked ‘Manufacture de St Etienne’ and dated 1871, with all hallmarks clearly visible. Barrel in mirror-finish condition. Beautiful light walnut stock with minimal signs of wear. In very good condition for a shooter, complete with its needle and rubber stopper (new). Category D.
