A pair of National Guard adjutant’s epaulettes, from the Louis-Philippe era. Included is *Mémorial de Sainte-Hélène* by Las Cases, 328 pages illustrated with 120 drawings. A copy from the 7th series of the *Panthéon Populaire*, published by Gustave Barba, Paris. The book has been traditionally restored, with cloth glued over the leather spine; the covers are scuffed, the corners are worn and bent, and there are a few water stains. Also included is a St Helena medal, in good condition.
