Breech block marked in cursive ‘Mele 1822T’ (the ‘Bis’ is illegible). Calibre and interesting renumbering on the right-hand side of the barrel and on the stock. The metal has a black appearance due to slight, uniform oxidation; brass fittings bear the same hallmark; the cleaning rod is missing. Overall length 35 cm, barrel length 20 cm. Category D
