Set of two flintlock pistols for export. One with a round barrel, slightly flared at the muzzle, calibre approximately 16 mm. Firing plate and hammers with flat bodies, decorated with plant motifs (firing plate locked). Brass fittings decorated with ‘Oriental-style’ motifs. Walnut stock with wear and tear; the stock ferrule is missing. Scuffs and missing parts. Total length 51.5 cm, barrel 35 cm. The other has a barrel that is pentagonal at the base and then rounds off, with the two sections separated by a ridge. Barrel, lock and hammer inlaid with brass decoration.
