Description
HUNGARY, Royal Air Force officer’s dagger, 1932 model. Cast brass pommel with an eagle’s head. Blackened wooden tang with deep grooves; guard featuring eagles with outstretched wings, with a push-button on the reverse (to remove the dagger from its scabbard). Double-edged steel blade (19.5 cm) engraved with an eagle with outstretched wings surmounted by the Hungarian royal crown. Total length: 22.7 cm. Without scabbard.
Please note: a silver-coloured metal disc bearing the swastika has been affixed to the tang.
