Two-shot percussion hunting rifle. Side-by-side barrels, damask band. Front lock plates marked ‘WINDICH A NIMES’ and round-bodied hammers, engraved with foliage motifs, grey-hardened. Iron fittings decorated in a matching style. Walnut stock. Rear butt plate in wood and brass Length: 121 cm. A.B.E (Minor oxidation). Circa 1845. Louis WINDISCH or VINDISCH, arquebus maker in Nîmes between 1845 and 1880.
