Model 1777–Year IX infantry flintlock rifle, manufactured in Saint-Étienne. Round barrel with fluted breech, dated ‘B 1813’. Breech block marked ‘M 1777’. Lock engraved ‘Manuf Imp de St Etienne’ and round-bodied hammer. Stamped iron fittings (different hallmarks on the muzzle cap and butt plate). Walnut stock with an EF mark dated 1813, decorated with brass rivets forming the letters ‘PT’. Barrel length: 113.5 cm. Overall length: 152.5 cm. With a bayonet (Length: 48 cm.) A.B.E. (Minor signs of wear).
