Round barrel with fluted muzzle. Trigger guard engraved ‘Maubeuge Manuf Nle’ and a round-bodied hammer. Brass fittings, some of which bear traces of a hallmark. Iron butt plate and trigger guard. Walnut stock with ‘RF’ stamp and ‘B.9 48.’ mark. Iron ramrod with flared head.
