Breech block marked ‘M AN 9’; lock plate marked ‘Manuf Imp de St Etienne’ and round-bodied hammer. Stamped brass fittings; unmarked brass grenadier plate. Iron flanges. Walnut stock with ‘EF’ hallmark. Barrel length: 74.5 cm. Overall length: 114 cm. A.B.E. With a socket bayonet (53 cm). White metal scabbard with a brass ferrule and brass pommel.
