A rare Brun Latrige ‘Brun’ model double-barrelled 12-gauge hunting shotgun with a extractor. Juxtaposed barrels with a tobacco-coloured patina (mirror finish on the inside), chiselled with foliage and thunderbolts, bearing the hallmarks ‘BRUN LATRIGE’ and ‘DAMAS DIAMANT’ on the underside, and stamped ‘BL 328’. Sliding breech engraved with a faun’s head and foliage, with a lever for opening and cocking the firing pins. Double trigger with safety catch. Stock in varnished marbled walnut, partly checkered with a recoil pad. Barrel length: 73.5 cm. Overall length: 116 cm. Date of manufacture: circa 1891.
