Barrells with hairline rifling, damascene bands, slightly fluted at the muzzles and stamped on the chamber walls, marked ‘MI’ and dated 1854. Rear hammers, stamped and engraved ‘Mre Impale de Châtellerault – Corps’. Finger-rest cross-guards. Stamped iron fittings. Finely checkered walnut stocks. Iron ramrods with brass ferrules. Walnut stocks (one with a small chip), partly checkered. Screw-on caps containing a ramrod ferrule and a powder chamber. Length: 37.5 cm B.E
