A flintlock pistol, model 1763–66, of revolutionary design.
Round barrel with fluted breech, dated ‘93’. Breech block engraved with ‘M 1763’. Trigger guard engraved ‘Mre de Libreville’ and flat-bodied hammer. Brass fittings, with traces of a Phrygian cap hallmark on one. Walnut stock. Iron ramrod.
Barrel length: 22.5 cm.
Overall length: 40 cm.
