Memorabilia belonging to an artilleryman of the 47th RA in Algeria, comprising 3 furagères, a ‘North Africa’ belt buckle, a sleeve badge, three medals, the Combatant’s Cross, the North African Commemorative Medal and the Silver Medal of Honour, a large knife with a Bowie blade made in Solingen and a handle of leather discs, with a sheath engraved ‘Wittlich, Germany, 24 February 1956, BÔNE, AFN 1.3, Blandan, 3 March 1956, Algeria, Constantine, Yusuf etc., and a skull bearing the number ‘47’.
