Medal of the 5th Legion of the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Militia. Enamelled metal. Full clasp. Made by Loriolli Milano. The 5th Legione bore the honorary name of La Viscontea, in reference to the Visconti, the historic ruling family of Milan (whose symbol is the snake, the Biscione). Their role was to defend the Italian skies, particularly over industrial centres such as Milan. The coin shows some wear and patina. Condition II+. Medal of the 5th Legion of the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Militia. Enamelled metal construction. Complete attachment. Manufactured by Lorioli Milano.
