Description
Prussian Tschako M1860. Unpunched leather bomb. Prussian eagle plate, screw and locknut fastening. The bourdalou is only present above the visor. Leather chinstrap with buckle. The leather is fragile and broken. Wolfs tooth cap, glued in the bomb, with tears and missing parts. Wear, patina. Prussian Model 1860 Tschako. Leather body with no visible maker's markings. Prussian eagle front plate secured by screw-post fasteners and retaining nuts. The upper binding remains only above the visor. Leather chinstrap mounted on side bosses. Leather is fragile and heavily worn. Interior fitted with a wolf-tooth liner, glued into the body. Showing wear, age patina, tears and losses throughout. Condition III.
