M1895 helmet of a Reservist Oldenburg JR91 RJR79. Very nice untouched helmet of a Reservist of the RJR79. Blackened leather shell in good condition, not pierced. Prussian eagle plate, nice remains of gilding, Koenig banner, original welded bridges, with in its centre the star with the arms of the Oldenburg and at the bottom a small reserve cross. The tip can be unscrewed from the base, which has never been removed. Inside, maker's markings, date 1914, OJR91 stamp and 2BRJR79 stamp. Good chinstrap. Badges without warranty. M1895 spiked helmet of an Oldenburg reservist of JR91 and RJR79. Very fine untouched reservist helmet of RJR79. Blackened leather shell in fine condition, unrepaired. Prussian eagle plate with attractive remaining gilt finish, König scroll, original soldered loops, with central Oldenburg arms star and small reserve cross at the base. Removable spike on never dismantled base. Interior marked by the manufacturer, dated 1914, stamped OJR91 and 2BRJR79. Fine chinstrap. Cockades without guarantee.
