Saxony Thuringia M1895 spiked helmet. Blackened leather shell in good condition, undrilled, size 57. All brass fittings. Eagle plate with Fuerst banner and centre with the arms of the duchies of Saxony-Thuringia. Original soldered threaded pins, with a fine imprint on the bomb. Original unscrewable tip. Cockade and chinstrap appear to be original, the latter fragile. Nape of neck unmarked. Black leather wolf tooth cap. Wear from use, patina. M1895 spiked helmet of Saxe-Thuringia.
